SOCIAL STUDIES

1. Go to Studies Weekly and login using the login information I sent via email. 

2. Click on the 2nd Grade articles titled "Texas Studies Weekly." 

⇒ 3. Go to week 9, North American Indian Nations, and read/listen to ALL of the articles. THIS IS NOT OPTIONAL. 

⇒ 4.  North American Indian Nations Questions : Complete the worksheet, for a grade, using the articles. 

5. Optional: Complete North American Indian Nations Map Skills and/or the online activities. 

 

SCIENCE: **Write a report! Don't only send pictures/videos!**

I will be taking a report for a Science grade. Please choose at least 1 experiment, or research activity to do. Here are some possible choices:

1. Science Experiments: Do a fun Science experiment at home. Have your child write a report telling me what you did, the results, and what you learned from it. Write 5-10 sentences. 

2.  Plant a garden.  Have your child write me a 5-10 sentence report, telling me about what he/she did, and send pics of the garden. 

3. Virtual Field Trip- Have your child go on a virtual Field Trip and tell me all about what you learned. Write a report that is a 5-10  sentences about what you saw and/or learned.

4. NasaNational Geographic KidsMystery Doug (login: jbelt@leakeyisd.net    psswd: Leakey20), Mystery ScienceBrain Pop Jr. (login: leakey1   psswd: Leakey1), or  Go to any of these websites, or other Science websites that you know of, and explore. Your child can do any of the activities/lessons, or just do research. Have your child write a report telling me what you learned. Write 5-10 sentences.
