A Leakey Ex-Student's Association has recently been formed.  Members of the Executive Committee are as follows:
 
Dub Suttle, President
Charlie Reagor, Vice President
Brenda Navarro Gonzalez, Treasurer
Patricia Taylor Hammond, Secretary
 
Anyone who ever attended Leakey ISD is encouraged to join by sending a check payable to Leakey Ex-
Student's Association to P.O. Box 241, Leakey, TX 78873.
Life Membership--$100 Annual Membership--$20

The primary purpose of this organization is to award a scholarship to a deserving LISD graduate each May.
The first Ex-Student's Association scholarship was awarded at graduation ceremonies in May of 2013.

These scholarships have historically been in the amount of $500 and are renewable each semester as long
as the scholarship criteria has been met. See the LISD Counselor for information and an application.
Scholarship deadline is April 30, 2019.
