For everyone to be aware that we have a company coming out June the 12th and 13th to clean & screen both gym floors and then apply their finishing coats to both floors. Once the work is completed everyone MUST stay off the floors for 7 days for curing time. We will have signs posted on the all gym doors to stay out of the gyms and after the 7 days is over we will remove all signs.

Texas
Position: Reading Instruction Specialist
Reports to: Director of Special Education for Cluster V
Contract: 12 month
An experienced reading instruction specialist to provide direct reading instruction training and
on-going support to elementary and secondary special education and dyslexia teachers in
Cluster 5.
Candidates must have
• Certifications in elementary and/or secondary education
• Certification in Special Education
• Reading specialist certification
• Evidence of training in dyslexia
• Minimum of five to ten years of experience teaching reading/dyslexia instruction in
elementary grades (PK-5)
• Knowledge of special education, 504 and dyslexia compliance requirements
• Knowledge of training/staff development techniques
The successful candidate will possess proven skills in
• teaching phonics,
• dyslexia assessment
• developing instructional programs for older struggling readers
• training and guiding teachers in teaching reading
This position requires a highly organized professional educator who is comfortable traveling
between seven districts and working with diverse student and staff populations.
